Ng’ang’a Mbugua

Ng’ang’a is a journalist with more than 20 years experience. He has worked in various positions in mainstream newspapers, and won the Pan-Africa Broadcast and Heritage Award in 2000.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Egerton University and certificates in Leadership from the Harvard University Kennedy School of Business and the Aga Khan University Graduate School of Media and Communications.

He also studied journalism at the International Institute of Journalism in Germany and Copyright Law with the Harvard Law School.

An author of more than 20 books, Ng’ang’a has won the Wahome Mutahi Literary Prize three times and has been twice runner-up for the Jomo Kenyatta Prize for Literature.

He is a member of the Kenya Editors Guild as well as the Kenya Publishers Association.
