Turner & Townsend

His whole life, Robert has wanted to do something that impacts society positively.

His zeal to make a difference saw him take up his first job as a project manager at Pinnacle Projects in 2009 for free.

“My whole life has revolved around my passion to make a difference in society. That’s also our slogan as a company,” says the father-of-two.

Robert, who has a Master’s degree in Project Planning and Management and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi, believes he has just done that. He is part of the brains behind Turner & Townsend, where he currently works as a director. The firm, is a global professional services company, specialising in project and cost management and advisory services in real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors.

Over his career, he has held different positions including project director, associate director and senior project manager.

The co-founder of the Kenya Green Building Society is also passionate about technology, and data. He is involved in various data centre projects – an infrastructure enabler to the blockchain, Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence.
