Mohsin Adamjee, 32

Managing Partner

Adamjee Auditors

At just 32, Mohsin Adamjee leads two fast-growing finance practices with a global footprint.

As managing partner at Adamjee Auditors and director at Edmo Global Services, he oversees audit, tax, and accounting services designed for both Kenyan businesses and international clients across Australia, Canada and the US.

Mohsin’s entrepreneurial journey began after working at several firms, including RSM International. He identified a gap in the SME market—businesses unable to afford audit and advisory services in a market where thousands of businesses do not make it past five years.

Mohsin takes an impact-driven approach to financial practice. While many firms focus solely on delivering reports, his philosophy centres on building long-term, trust-based partnerships with clients. He prides himself in helping entrepreneurs gain true financial clarity—translating numbers into meaning, and meaning into better decisions.

"For me, impact means assisting clients sleep better at night as well as grow their businesses sustainably by helping them avoid pitfalls that end up killing firms."

“For me, impact means assisting clients sleep better at night as well as grow their businesses sustainably by helping them avoid pitfalls that end up killing firms,” he said.

Mohsin’s impact extends into the community. His firm runs a pro bono start-up support, helping up to 10 early-stage entrepreneurs each month navigate company registration, tax requirements and compliance. He also mentors young professionals interested in accounting and provides internship opportunities for fresh CPA graduates.

Mohsin is an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) holder. He also earned a Master of Science in Professional Accountancy from the University of London by age 25. He says making it to the Top 40 Under 40 Men is “surreal and exciting.”

“It is a validation of the late-night coffees, the grit and the consistent pursuit of excellence. This recognition makes it worthwhile,” says Mohsin.

His advice to young people: “Passion grows from competence. You love a job when you become good at it.”
